Some of our Xcel Gold, Platinum and Diamond gymnasts traveled down to sunny Saint Petersburg Florida for the Gasparilla Classic Gymnastics Meet last week! The athletes did amazing and received some personal best scores, and had a blast doing it! Below are the highlights from each gymnast!
Gold:
Brynlee B had a beautiful beam routine and earned her highest score of the meet, a 9.075! She received 4th place for this beautiful routine!
Makayla S showed off her strong vault earning a 9.0 and 3rd place on this event! She also received 3rd place on beam!
The Platinum team had an amazing meet and took first place! They earned their second highest team score of the season, a 109.425!
Platinum:
Veda C had a stellar meet, with her highest score of a 9.425 on both floor and bars! She earned 1st place on vault, bars, floor and in the all around and second on beam!
Meghan L has a beautiful floor routine, earning her highest score of the meet with a 9.4. She received 2nd place on floor and in the all around, 3rd on bars and 4th on vault!
Cora B had a solid beam routine, earning her highest score of the meet, a 9.125! She received 5th on beam and 4th on vault!
Zala B was a show stopper on floor, earning her highest score of the meet, a 9.325! She took 3rd on floor and on beam!
Luella E had a phenomenal beam routine, earning a 9.525! She took 1st place on beam and floor and 4th in the all around!
Diamond:
Amelia W had her best meet of the year! She got her highest score on floor with a 9.25 earning 3rd place, and took 3rd on vault as well!
