Some of the Xcel Platinum and Diamond athletes competed at the regional competition over the weekend, and did an amazing job! We are so proud of all the accomplishments these athletes have made this year and can’t wait to see what next year brings!
Kayley H, Zala B and Meghan L competed in the first session, and had such a fun time! They all showed off their routines so well, and even threw in some new skills!
Kayley H is a regional all around champion in her age group! She took First place on bars, beam, floor and in the all around, as well as second on vault! She also set a new RSGA Xcel Platinum all around record!
Zala B showed off her amazing floor routine, and took home 7th place in this event! She also took 8th on vault!
Meghan L had a great bars routine, and took 4th place on this event! She also took 8th in the all around!
The next session consisted of Ali J, Keira J and Veda C. They had a blast in their session, and did great!
Veda C is a regional all around champion in her age group as well! She took first on bars, and in the all around, 3rd on vault and 4th on beam and floor!
Keira J had a beautiful floor routine and took 2nd in this event! She also took 6th on bars!
Ali J had a great vault, and earned 9th on that event! She also took 10th on floor!
Saturday consisted of 3 meets, the first with Luella E, the second with Avery K and the third with Sophia S. They all had great meets!
Luella E is a regional all around champion in her age group too! She had her best meet of the season, earning 1st in the all around, 2nd on vault and beam and 5th on bars! She also set a new personal best on vault, bars and in the all around!
Avery K rocked her floor routine, and took 4th place on that event! She also took 6th on beam and in the all around, and 7th on vault!
Sophia S had a great floor routine and took 6th on that event! She also took 8th on beam and 9th on vault and in the all around!
Sophia C competed in the diamond session on Sunday, and did very well! She took 4th on floor and 7th on vault, bars and in the all around!
