Congratulations to the JO level 6 gymnasts that competed in the Gina Morri Invite on February 18th. Here are a few highlights from their meet:

Age group 10 and younger:

Veronica Z. placed 3rd in all-around with a score of 36.3.

Tori B. placed 3rd on bars with a score of 9.3.

Age group 11 & 12:

Chloe S. scored a 9.125 on vault and floor.

Age group 13+:

Brynn S. won 1st on floor with a score of 9.25 and took 1st on vault with a score of 9.1. She also placed 3rd on bars with a score of 9.15, earning her 2nd in all-around with a score of 36.450.

As a team they took 2nd, with a score of 109.175! Great job girls!

Congratulations to all of our Team gymnasts who traveled to Arizona February 9th-11th to compete in the Classic Rock Invite! Listed below are a few highlights from the meet. Great job girls!

Level 7

Ch A: Lily T. scored 9.35 on floor and 9.3 on vault and 36.45 in all-around

Ch B: Harper H.got 9.375 on vault and 9.25 on beam

Jr A: Abbey S. won beam with 9.3, paced 3rd on floor ( 9.425),  got 9.325 on vault.

Miranda B. scored 9.3 on vault, 9.175 on floor and 9.1 on beam.

Jr. B: Katelyn M. Placed 3^rd on beam with a score of 9.4. She also scored a 9.4 on floor, a 9.25 on vault, and a 9.225 ob bars, scoring herself a 37.275 in all-around.

Angela  T. Placed 2^nd on vault with a score of 9.550 and scored a 9.2 on floor.

Jr C: Rachel F. Placed 3^rd on vault with a score of 9.325, scored a 9.350 on beam, and a 9.125 on floor.

Sr A: Sienna V. placed 3rd on vault with a score of 9.4, and she also placed 3^rd on bars with a score of 9.2. She also got a 9.2 on floor.

Maddy Y. won 1^st on beam with a score of 9.4 and also placed 3^rd on vault with 9.4.

Sr B: Anna M. scored a 9.350 on vault and a 9.325 on floor.

The level 7 team scored their highest team score so far this season, coming in at 112.05!

Level 8

Sr B: Kendall R. placed 2^nd on vault with a score of 9.250 and got a 9.025 on beam and a 9.0 on floor.

Sr C: Cassie S. placed 2^nd on vault with a score of 9.4 and scored a 9.175 on floor. Cassie also placed 3rd on bars and placed 2nd in all-around.

Marissa M. placed 3^rd on vault with a  score of 9.350 and scored a 9.250 on floor. She also placed 2nd on beam.

Erica S. scored a 9.150 on vault and a 9.025 on floor.

The level 8 team scored a team score of 107.150.

Level  9

Taylor S. won 1^st on vault with a score of 9.575 and placed 2^nd on floor with a score of 9.350.

Level 10

Ch: Molly P. scored an 8.9 on vault.

Jr B: Mya H. placed 3^rd on beam with a score of 9.4, she scored a 9.375 on floor, a 9.3 on bars, and a 9.0 on vault. This earned her a total score of 37.075 in all-around.

Sr A: Lindsey M. scored a 9.3 on floor and  a 9.0 on beam.

Isabella F. scored a 9.150 on floor.

The level 10 team scored a team score of 106.625.

The Classic Spectacular was the fifth meet of 2017-18 meet season. The Xcel gymnasts are in the home stretch of competition season. The Silver team was the only team to compete at this meet, taking home a fifth place win. Leading the team was Ella K., and Ellen S. All of the 28 silver gymnasts at Rising Stars have qualified themselves for the State Meet that will take place in March. Awesome job Silver gymnasts!

Monday, January 29th – Current students that are staying the same day, time, and level.

Monday, February 5th – Current students that are wanting to switch days, times, or levels.

Monday, February 12th – Open enrollment for all current and non-current students.

*Registration is run on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Legacy Luau was the forth meet of 2017-2018 Xcel meet season. The silver team took home a fourth place win. Leading the team was Stella J., Ella K., Alexandra W., and Savannah B.. All of the 28 silvers at Rising Stars have qualified themselves for the state meet that will take place in March. Awesome job gymnasts!

The Xcel Gold team placed third, only missing first place by one point. Katie B and Katie S. were our top competitors for the meet. The Gold gymnasts also had five more girls qualify for the state meet in March. Only four more to go! Great job ladies!

The Xcel Platinum team had a great meet as well, coming home with a third place win. Platinum also missed placing first by one point. The team was led by Lacey T, and Luka J. All of our platinum gymnasts are also qualified for there state meet in March. Amazing job ladies, keep up the great work!

Rising Stars Gymnastics Academy Level 3 and Level 4 teams recently wrapped up the 2017 season with a fun showing at the MN State Meet. We are immensely proud that all 30 athletes were able to qualify this year. Each and every girl represented RSGA with confidence and sportsmanship.

We had nine top 10 finishes for level 4s within six different age categories. Keiona R tumbled big for 8^th place on floor (9.05). Ayana C-K was able to hit a strong beam routine which helped her take home 5^th place on beam (9.225) and 10^th place in the All-Around competition (36.25). Stella G showed her power on vault (8.775) and bars (9.2) receiving an 8^th and 6^th place finish. This paved the way for a 7^th place medal in the All-Around (35.825). Geneva R showed off her dance for a 3^rd place and 8^th place finish on the beam (9.25) and floor (9.15). Geneva was also able to claim 5^th place in the AA at state (36.25)!

The level 3’s were placed among 94 other girls who competed during the same session. Although they were not recognized for individual events at the competition, Addison K and Avery D were able to rank 6^th and 8^th on the uneven bars with big scores of 9.55 and 9.525.

CandyLand Challenge was the third meet of our 2017-18 Xcel season! The silver team took home a second place win, with Amanda M., Alexandra W., and Regan J. leading the team. All 28 of our silver gymnasts at Rising Stars have qualified themselves for the state meet that will take place in March. Awesome job Silvers!

The Xcel Gold team placed first and remains undefeated for the season. The Gold team was led by Sofia L, and Kylee J. Great job ladies, keep up the good work!

The Xcel Platinum team had a great meet as well, coming home with a third place win. The team was led by Luka J. and Lacey T. Great job to all of our gymnasts!
