Wishing all of our families a wonderful Easter weekend!

As a reminder, RSGA will be open regular hours for all classes this week/weekend.

Due to the winter wonderland (and road conditions) we woke up to this morning, we have made the decision to CLOSE for classes today (Saturday, April 1). This includes all preschool, rec, ninja, and DP and Xcel team practices.
Stay warm, drive safe if you need to be on the roads, and enjoy the snow!

Congratulations to our level 7 team for competing at their last meet of the season! The girls were split up into three different sessions, and the team score was totaled throughout the day. Our level 7 team finished 18^th in the state with a score of 107.65!

Child B

Natalie G. had her last meet with us before she moves. All the girls will miss her very much, and Natalie was so happy to compete with them! Natalie’s high scores of the meet include an 8.975 on floor and an 8.85 on vault which tied for 6^th place! In the all-around, Natalie scored a 33.625.

Child C

Kaylah M. had her best meet of the season! She started strong on beam with a 9.1 which tied for 6^th place and she had her season high score on floor with a 9.5 for 7^th place! Kaylah also finished with a 35.3 in the all-around for 13^th place!

Sofia A. worked to push through mental blocks leading up to this meet! She showed some awesome routines finishing twice in the top ten! Her high scores include a 9.05 on vault which tied for 4^th and a 9.475 on floor for 8^th place! Overall, Sofia scored a 35.075 in the all-around.

Jr A

Aubrey F. showed some beautiful improvements to her routines this meet! Aubrey had her best bars, vault and floor of the season! Her top scores include an 8.825 on vault which tied for 7^th and a 9.4 on floor for 8^th place! Aubrey’s all-around score was a 34.575!

Jr C

Chloe was our only level 7 in the first session and she did an awesome job pushing through without her teammates there. Chloe’s high scores include a 9.15 on vault, a 9.35 on beam, and a 9.35 on floor! She finished 3^rd on floor, 2^nd on beam and is the state champion on vault! Overall, Chloe finished 5^th in the all-around with a 36.225!

Sr A

Olga M. came into the meet with a lot of nerves, but was able to push through and show some awesome routines! Olga’s highest score of the night was on floor where she placed 5^th with a 9.425! Overall, Olga placed 12^th in the all-around with a 34.625!

Congratulations to our level 6 team for competing at their last meet of the season! The girls were split up into two different sessions, and the team score was totaled throughout the day. We had an amazing day and our level 6 team placed 2^nd in the state with a season high of 112.45! Congratulations!

Jr A

Yanet D. is the all-around state champion! Her high scores include a 9.375 on vault, a 9.375 on bars, a 9.45 on beam and a 9.4 on floor! Yanet placed 4^th on beam, 3^rd on bars, 3^rd on floor and 1^st on vault! Overall, Yanet placed 1^st in the all-around with a 37.6!

Ashlyn C. had an awesome meet! Her high scores include a 9.275 on bars, a 9.375 on beam and a 9.475 on floor! Ashlyn placed 5^th on beam and 1^st on floor! In the all-around, Ashlyn tied for 3^rd place with a 37.025!

Arianna D. had her best meet of the season! Ari’s high scores include a 9.4 on floor where she tied for 3^rd place and a 9.475 on beam where she tied for 2^nd place! Arianna placed 6^th in the all-around with a total all-around score of 36.7!

Jr B

Maya K. had an amazing meet! Her high scores include a 9.1 on vault, a 9.225 on beam, a 9.375 on floor, and a 9.65 on bars! Maya placed 5^th on floor and tied for 1^st on both vault and bars! Overall, Maya placed 2^nd in the all-around with a score of 37.35!

Hattie S. had her best of the season! Her high scores include a 9.05 on beam, a 9.1 on vault, a 9.15 on floor and a 9.25 on bars! Hattie highest finish was on vault where she tied for 1^st place! In the all-around, Hattie scored a 36.55 for 6^th place!

Allison H. had a solid meet, sticking all four of her routines! Her high scores of the meet include a 9.15 on floor which tied for 9^th and a 9.275 on beam which tied for 6^th! Allison’s all-around score was 35.7 where she placed 12^th!

Ella G. made some big improvements including accidentally adding a new skill on bars! Ella’s highest scores of the night were on vault and floor with a 9.025 and a 9.375 respectively. She placed 5^th on both vault and floor! Ella scored a 35.3 in the all-around and placed 13^th!

Jr C

Camilla T. had a fantastic meet and even added a brand new skill to her bar routine because she was so determined not to fall! Camilla’s highest score of the meet was on floor where she scored a 9.15! Overall, Camilla placed 17^th in the all-around with a 34.95!

Sr B

Elsa T. had her best meet of the season! She took a scary fall in beam warm up but was so brave and pushed through to hit an awesome beam routine! Elsa’s high scores include a 9.0 on bars, a 9.125 on beam and a 9.4 on floor! Elsa placed 5^th on beam and 3^rd on floor! In the all-around, Elsa scored a 36.425 and placed 2^nd!

 

Good Luck to our DP Levels 6 and 7 and Xcel Gold, Platinum, and Diamond as they head to the Minneapolis Convention Center for their State meet this weekend! Congratulations to all of our gymnasts who worked hard on qualifying to compete!

Congratulations to our level 7 team for competing at their last meet before state! We had so much fun doing a spirit week leading up to this meet where the girls dressed up in different themes each day! Our level 7 team finished with a score of 108.1 for 3^rd place!

Jr A

Aubrey F. made her giants again this meet and it is so exciting to see! Aubrey’s highest score of the meet was a 9.2 on floor for 3^rd place! She also finished 5^th on bars! In the all-around, Aubrey scored a 35.3 for 4^th place!

Sofia A. struggled with a lot of mental blocks last week, but pushed through for the meet! Her highest score of the meet was on floor where she broke the Rising Stars level 7 floor record with a 9.8 for 1^st place! Sofia scored a 35.275 in the all-around for 5^th place!

Natalie G. had a consistent meet hitting all four routines! Her highest score of the meet was on floor with a 9.0! Natalie placed 4^th on vault and 5^th on floor! In the all-around, Natalie scored a 34.45 for 10^th place!

Kaylah M. had a bit of a rough meet, but kept a positive attitude and is ready to prove herself at State! Her highest score of the meet was on floor with an 8.9 where she showed off some powerful tumbling! Overall, Kaylah scored a 33.775 in the all-around.

Jr B

Chloe R. had one of her most consistent meets of the season! Chloe’s high scores include a 9.25 on beam and a 9.4 on floor! She placed 3^rd on both beam and floor and tied for 1^st on vault! Chloe scored a 36.325 in the all-around for 4^th place!

Jr C

Yanet D. had a great meet! She had high scores of a 9.25 on beam, a 9.3 on bars and a 9.35 on floor! Yanet tied for 1st on bars, placed 2nd on vault and tied for 4th on floor. Overall, Yanet had an all-around score of 36.55 for 2nd place!

Arianna D. had an awesome meet! She had high scores of a 9.0 on bars, a 9.225 on floor and a 9.5 on beam! Ari placed 3rd on vault, 4th on bars, and 1st on beam. Ari’s all-around score was a 36.3 which earned her a 3rd place finish!

Hattie S. made her very first beam routine of the season! Hattie had high scores of a 9.0 on beam, a 9.15 on bars and a 9.35 on floor! She placed 4th on vault, tied for 4th on floor and 3rd on bars. Hattie finished in 4th place in the all-around with a 36.05!

Ella G. had a very consistent meet, hitting four out four routines! Ella’s highest score of the meet was on beam with a 9.275! Her highest finish of the meet was on vault where she tied for 5th. Overall, Ella scored a 35.075 in the all-around for 6th place!

Jr B
Maya K. had her best meet of the season! Maya’s high scores include a 9.275 on beam, a 9.4 on floor and a 9.725 on bars! She placed 4th on beam, 2nd on floor, 1st on vault and 1st on bars! In the all-around, Maya placed 1st with a 37.2!

Allison H. also had her best meet of the season and earned credit for her high bar cast! Her high scores include a 9.2 on floor and a 9.5 on beam! Allison placed 4th on floor and 2nd on beam! Her all-around score was a 35.9 which placed 4th!

Camilla T. made some big improvements this meet! Camilla’s high scores include a 9.15 on floor and a 9.3 on beam! She placed 5th on floor and 3rd on beam! Overall, Camilla scored a 35.65 in the all-around for 6th place!

Jr C
Elsa T. had her best floor and bars of the season! Her high scores include an 8.925 on bars and a 9.2 on floor! These scores earned her a 4th place finish on both bars and floor. Elsa scored a 35.225 in the all-around for 3rd place!

This past weekend the Xcel Gold-Diamond teams competed at out home meet, the Rising Stars Invitational! Each level had a great time and really showed off their routines! Here are some highlights from each level!

Gold:
The gold team received a team score of 110.075, which is the second highest score they have earned this year! Here is each athlete with their highest score of the meet!
