New Registration Program starting Fall 2022!
There are some big changes starting this fall at Rising Stars! We have transitioned to a new class management software. This new system allows parents to enroll and pay for classes online! All families will need to set up an account using the parent portal. Please use this link to create an account or login.
Another big change is the switch to monthly tuition. Rather than having session-based classes, we now have a school year schedule and a summer schedule. When a student enrolls, they will be automatically enrolled in the same class, day, and time for the entire school year (or summer) unless a parent requests a switch (can be done via your parent portal account). See below for information on how to notify us of dropping a class.
Please note that registration, payment, class adjustments, etc. can still be done in person!
2022-2023 School Year Schedule
The 2022-2023 school year schedule will run Tuesday, September 6 – Saturday, June 3.
Students can enroll at any time! If you start mid-month, tuition will be prorated accordingly.
Please note that tuition listed on the schedule is an estimate based on a 4-week month. Tuition may be more or less depending on how many times a class will meet in a given month.
Rising Stars will be closed on the dates listed below. Tuition for preschool and rec students will be automatically prorated for gym closures due to holidays (Labor Day, Thanksgiving, etc.). No make-ups are needed for those days!
September 5 — Labor Day
October 31 — Halloween (evening only!)
November 24-26 — Thanksgiving Break
December 23 – January 1 — Winter Break
May 27-29 — Memorial Day Weekend
***Rising Stars is OPEN during MEA, MLK Jr. Day, President’s Day, all Spring Breaks, and Easter weekend
***There are no refunds or credits for missed classes regardless of reason!
***If you would like to drop a class, you must notify our office in writing (via email: firstname.lastname@example.org) by the 15th of the prior month! This deadline is important and non-negotiable as we need time to adjust staffing and class admissions. Thank you for your understanding and adhering to our rules.
***You are responsible for payment for your student’s classes WHETHER OR NOT YOUR STUDENT ATTENDS CLASS until the time you notify the staff VIA WRITTEN NOTICE. Please do not rely on your student to verbally let us know that he/she will no longer be attending classes. If a student stops coming to class without notification, then that student’s account will be charged for the additional 30 days. This charge will be for holding the student’s place in that class instead of offering that place to one of the many on a waiting list.
***All families are required to keep a credit card on file and enroll in recurring billing. A charge for the upcoming month’s tuition is added to iClassPro accounts around the 5th of the current month and a reminder is emailed to families. Tuition for the upcoming month is due by the 15th of the current month. For example, a charge for November tuition is added to account around October 5th and cards on file are charged on the first business day after October 15th.
If you plan on staying enrolled and using recurring billing, you are free to ignore the reminder email. If payment is made prior to the due date either online, in person, or over the phone, then the card on file is not charged. If no payment is made prior to the due date, that is when the card on file will be charged on the following business day.
***The Annual Membership Fee is paid at the time of registration — $25 for one student, $50 for more than one student. The membership fee is always non-refundable and is good for the entire school year. The membership fee gives members the discounted price on preschool and progressive open gyms.
